1 year Before the events in Truthwitch and Windwitch, Sightwitch sister follows Ryber Fortiz. Since the age of 4 Ryber has lived in Sightwitch Convent, serving the goddess and fellow Sightwitch waiting till the Goddess calls her to receive the gift of foretelling. For years Ryber has waited, and even seen her Threadsister is called up. Than one by one the Goddess called them back to the mountain to sleep leaving Ryber as the last Sightwitch Sister.  She is the only one left that can save her sister, as she travels down underground she meets up with a lost young captain Kullen Ikray. Sightwitch is a great book in the way it has expand the Witchland world, I loved finding out more about the history of the Witchland, especially the source of the abilities. This book has amazing artwork in it, from the Map of the Witchland, to the drawing. It makes the book feels more like a journal and not a normal book. Ryber is a really interesting character, she is strong fierce and loyal, I liked the fact that she loves books. I hope we get to see more of Ryber in the future books.

This is an epic fantasy, that is fast paced with action and romance. Susan Dennard has created an amazing world, that I can not wait to visit again.

I give this book 5 out of 5
