Echoes in Death by J.D. Robb

Echoes in Death is book 44 in the In death series, and this series never disappoints. This is a series that I love a lots so I am having to stop myself from doing the ramblings of an obsessed fan.

After having a some time off from their last case Eve and Roarke find a women that’s been assaulted wondering the street. This draws Eve into a case of rape, assault , robbery that escalates to murder.

I love this series, the cases as always was really interesting and it good to see the growth in Eve with dealing with cases of rape. I love the relationship between Eve and Roarke how he allows her to be who she is and he there to support her. As always I would like to see more of Roarke but that just because I have a soft spot for him. This book was more about the case then the people in Eve life, which is a nice change of pace as the last couple of book have had a direct connection.

If you like your crime fiction with a futuristic twist and a good dose of romance this is a series to try.

I give this 5 out of 5.
