Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega) by Patricia Briggs

Cry Wolf is the first book in Patricia Briggs Alpha & Omega series. A little bit of advice is to read the prequel book Alpha & Omega is it helps set up this book, and make it a little easy to understand.

Cry Wolf follows Anna as she moves from her pack in Chicago to Montana, to be with Alpha wolf and head enforcer Charles. Anna and Charles are having to deal with their new relationship with having to deal with a rogue werewolf attack human near their land.

I found the take on the world of werewolf interesting, especially with the raking and the role of the Omega in a pack. Its also nice to have a relationship that doesn’t fix the person when they first get together, you can see that Ann and Charles are working on become there issue to be a stronger couple.  I don’t want to give an spoiler but I will say there was a nice twist in the book that made me read the book into the night to finish it.

This series reminded me of the Amanda Carlson Jessica McClain series and that I need to read the most recent book Blue Blooded. At least I have the rest of the Alpha and Omega series till I can get my hand on Blue Blooded
