Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller is a swashbuckling epic story.

The book follows Princess Alosa (love the name) as she engineers her kidnapping onto another pirate ship, she is doing this to rob part of a map that her father the Pirate King needs. Alosa has to play her part of unwilling captive when she is surrounded by male pirate that she knows she can best in a battle of brains and strength. Alosa thought that this mission would be simple but it end up being anything but.

I love, love, loved the banter between Alosa and Riden. I was listening to the book with a massive smirk on my face trying to stop myself from laughing. The sarcastic comments and one up man ship. I hope in the next book that Alosa and Riden get a chance to having a shooting competition to find out who truly is the best.

The story kept me interesting wondering what Alosa has up at her very stylish sleeve.

I would love to read the story from Riden side, as I think his internal monologue regarding Alosa will be nearly as entertaining, as Alosa internal monologue about him.

The 2nd book Daughter of the Siren Queen comes out February 2018 and I can’t wait to see what happens next for Alosa. Her mission has changed her as a person, and I wondering if the world can handle the new Alosa especially her father.

I give this book

5 out of 5
