Enigma (FBI Thriller #21) by Catherine Coulter

Enigma is the newest book in Catherine Coulter FBI thriller series, the book was published on the 12th September 2017.

Catherine Coulter intertwined two stories in one book, the first story follows a man how breaks into a pregnant women home. Savich saves the women, but when the women new-born baby is kidnapped the delve into a world of medical testing.

The second story follows new member of CAD team Cam and Jack from the New York office as they hunt down escape fugitive who escape prison transfer after robbing a bank. What is so important that he took from a safe deposit box that a person would risk breaking him free.

I always enjoy Catherine Coulter stories, the story is interesting fast paced and keeps you wanting more. This FBI Thriller series balances crime and romance, in this book the focus is more on crime than romance. Although I can see this book being a springboard for more romance.

The book makes you think about what you are willing to do to save a family member. There is one element of the story that is left unanswered which I hope in another book explains / resolved.

Sherlock and Savich are one of my favourite crime solving couples, I love how they work together at work and at home. The team that Savich has created is a interesting team with each person bring another dimension, there isn’t one person on the team that you can’t help put like.

I give this book 4.8 out of 5.
