Book Review: Summoned to Thirteenth Grave (Charley Davidson #13) by Darynda Jones

Hello O Fílos mou,

Three and a half years ago I feel in love the Charley Davidson, and Summoned to Thirteenth Grave marks the final book in the series. I am sorry to be saying goodbye to such a great cast of characters. I have pages in my notebook dedicated to quotes from this series, that’s how much I love this series and Charley.

Charley Davidson, God and Grim Reaper extraordinaire, is seriously pissed.

Charley brought back her best friend daughter from the dead, means she’s been kicked off the earthly plane for eternity.

Something has happened she does not what, but when she’s allowed to return after a mere hundred years in exile go. She missed her family , here  missed her daughter, Reyes, Cookie and Garrett and Uncle Bob. Now that she’s back on earth, it’s time to put to rest burning questions that need answers. What happened to her mother? How did she really die? Who killed her? How is she going to stop a demon virus from wiping humanity off the face of the earth?

Summoned to Thirteenth Grave is a perfect ending to a perfect series.

Reading Summoned to Thirteenth Grace time was spent highlighting quotes I loved. Charley is at her witty best in Summoned to Thirteenth Grave

These are my favourite T-Shirt/ Meme quotes.

“Patience: That thing you have when there are too many Witnesses.”

“Coffee helps me maintain my “never killed anyone streak.”

“I’m not sure I can physically handle much more of this “getting out of bed” nonsense.”

This is the last book in the series I want to make sure that I don’t spoil anything. All I will say is this book has the whole gang. We find out some secrets, some main blowing secrets. They will be laughs, drama and sexy time. The plot has twists that keep you hooked and some that will make you double-check what you have just read.

My rating for Summoned to Thirteenth Grave is 5 out of 5.
