Book Review: Bloodwitch (Witchland #3) by Susan Dennard

Hello Mers Chers Amis,

The Witchlands series has been a firm favourite of mine since I picked up Truthwitch over 2 years ago. Aeduan ended up being a surprised favourite. When I heard that the third book would focus more on my favourite Bloodwitch, I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on a copy.

Aeduan the Bloodwitch has teamed up with Iseult the Threadwitch to bring the magical girl Owl to her clan..

But while tracking Owl clan, Aeduan come across what his father is doing, now he must face his past and decided will he continue working with his father or keep his promise to Iseult  and Owl.

The Raider King aka Aeduan father is continuing his raid of the Empire.  But what secret are The Raider King after at the snowy monastery ?

.

SPEECHLESS!!!! completely and utterly speechless.

Aeduan is the main forces in Bloodwitch, put we still get to find out what is happening with Safi, Iseult, Vivia and Merik. Each of the characters have their own ongoing drama, which keeps the action fast paced, never boring and completely gripping.

I have new respect for Vivia and Vaness with the strength they have to rule, especially dealing with people who feel the ruler should be male.

I need to mention the chemistry between Aeduan and Iseult, it’s electric, it gave my heart goosebumps.

finding out about Aeduan life before Truthwitch makes me want to set up a fan club for him, to show he isn’t the monster people say he is.

Bloodwitch has it all Romance, betrayal, magic, drama, humour, action, politics, and friendship. All wrapped in a plot that has plenty twist, turns and surprises.

My rating for Bloodwitch is 5 out of 5.

Thank you to Netgalley and Tor UK for my copy of Bloodwitch for a fair and honest review.

Bloodwitch is out in the US on the 12th Feb and the 21st in the UK.
