Book Review: Venom in the Veins (Elemental Assassin #17) by Jennifer Estep

Hi Zanmi,

As I continue listening to books at work this week book pick is Venom in the Veins by Jennifer Estep. This is book 17 in the elemental Assassin series. I do have a soft spot for Female assassins.

All Gin wanted was a nice quiet dinner with friends.

But when you are Gin Blanco aka the notorious Asian and current queen of the Ashland underworld, that’s not going to happen.

When Gin friend and the present of First Trust Bank Stuart Mosely is attacked. Gin must investigate and find out who has a grudge out Mosleys. When she  start to look she start to see a connection to herself and the Circle.the evil shadow group,

When another blast from my dark and deadly past as the Spider comes to light, Gin is left wondering  if she will be able to survive this dangerous new enemy, who has a burning thirst for revenge that will only be satisfied with one thing: Gins death.

Venom in the Veins is full of fights, friendship, drama, laughs and good cooking.

One of my favourite elements of the elemental Assassin series, is the people that surround Gin and how protective they are of each other. This can be perfectly seen in this books as Gin will do anything to protect Mosely. The Group all accepts each other for their fault/ murder in all

Venom in the Veins drop some great knowledge bombs, this did bit make me existed to see what Gin does net.

My rating for Venom in the Vein is 4 out of 5.
