My final book in my holiday Marathon is FrostBlood the first book in Elly Blake FrostBlood saga.
This book follows Ruby a Fireblood she is born with the ability to control Fire. The only problem is that she lives in the lead rule by FrostBlood and to be a Fireblood is a crime.
Ruby life is changed for every when her village is raided her mother dies looking for her. From that day she swears to avenge her mother, she forms an alliances with a FrostBlood Rebel Arcus but is Arcus friend or foe. She has one chance to destroy the FrostBlood King but she will have no idea of what this will cost her.
Ruby is a really interesting character, you can see her character evolved as she learns to control her abilities. My favourite parts are the interactions between Arcus and Ruby as they try to gain the upper hand with each other, and how the interaction changes as that get to know each other.
The book added wrapping up the storyline really well, but you know that their is much more to come. I can’t wait to read Fireblood it on my I need to buy list.
