Book Review: Exile (The Marc Dane Series #2) by James Swallow

Hi Prijatelj,

Exile by James Swallow has been on my TBR list for far to long. I read the first book in the series Nomad last year and really enjoyed it.

Marc Dane has left MI6 and is now working for the Union Nations working in their Nuclear investigation team.

One of his investigation leads to down the dark path that leads to a nuclear weapon. The manner in which Marc investigate this lead cause people not to believe him . The only people who Marc can go to is Rubicon, and hope that with their help they can stop a nuclear disaster.

Exile is a heart pounding thriller that you won’t wish to miss a word.

I enjoy that with Marc Dane as the lead, his strength is in his brain. Marc has been working on his strength after getting beaten up a lot in Nomad.  People are still underestimating Marc which is to their own detriment, I do enjoy reading when that happens. He is more confidence now than in Nomad.

Although Marc does solve a lot of the problems, I want Lucy to save me. Even hurt she kick ass better than most people.

Again the book is split into different perspective, it always interesting to be in Marc brain, but I was really gripped by Ramaas perspective as you never know what he was going too. He is really a crazy pirate warlord.

Exile Is a little far-fetched but that makes it so much more enjoyable to read. It is truly an escapism fiction worth losing several hours reading it.

My rating for Exile is 4 out of 5
