Book Review: Archangel’s Prophecy (Guild Hunter #11) by Nalini Singh

Hello Mitr,

Todays review is regarding Archangel’s Prophecy by Nalini Singh. I am a big fan of the Guild Hunter series and was excited for Archangel’s Prophecy.

Elena is unique among angelkind, the first mortal to be turned to angel in angelic memory. But her wings and her immortality is failing.

Elena and Raphael must find out the reason why she is regressing before her regression kills her. All the while investigation an attack on Elena brother-in-law.

The world is still feeling the effects of the cascade. In China, the Archangel Favashi is showing the first signs of madness. In New York, a mysterious sinkhole filled with lava swallows a man whole. In Africa, torrential monsoon rains flood rolling deserts. And in Elena’s mind whispers a haunting voice that isn’t her own.

For the consort of an Archangel this time survival might not be possible.

Archangel’s Prophecy is another great addition to the Guild Hunter series.

Archangel’s Prophecy is back to the main duo Elena and Raphael, but don’t worry we still get to see some of the some of the Seven and Elena guard.

I love Elena relationship with Raphael Seven, the book has some great sections with her and Illium, but the below is my favourite interaction is the below between Dmitri and Elena.

“Mess with me and I will shot your through the heart, I swear to God. I am so far past hangry, I’m homicidal.”

Archangel’s Prophecy answers questions that I had about previously and also left me with some new ones. This book felt to be that it’s the end of a chapter in Elena and Raphael life. It left me wondering what will happen next for them both.

Nalini Singh writing style is easy to read, she is really good of having several different plots lines going that all end up interweaving together.

My rating for Archangel’s Prophecy is 5 out of 5.
