Book Review: Don’t Bait Me (Nora Jacobs #3) by Jackie May

Hi Cara,

I am back in the Nora Jacobs world. This time I am reviewing Don't Bait Me.

Synopsis

Now that Nora has been outed as an underworlder, all she wants to do is lay low, figure out how to hide her fey heritage, and decide if she wants to date any of the men in her life. Unfortunately, fate has other plans.

Just one week after the werewolf fiasco, Terrance is nearly killed by an unknown attacker. He's not the only victim. Fey all around the city are being murdered and with Nora's reputation for solving cases, they're looking to her for help. What choice does she have but to get involved? Not only does being fey make her a target, but the killer went after her troll. He's going to pay for that.

Opinion

Don't Bait me is a slightly more dangerous book, than this time focus on the fae.

I find it really interesting that the fae has a large classification if your not a werewolf, sorcerer, or vampire you are a  type of fae.

One of my favourite aspects of Don't Bait me is finding out more about Nora nature, abilities and what it means for the men in Nora life.

There is a lot of action in Don't Bait me, due to the attempt on Nora and her clan and an undercover operation. I enjoy the fighting and action, especially when Nora fights herself and stops being the damsel in distress.

Overall it an easy and enjoyable read, it's a nice romantic mystery urban fantasy book.

My Rating for Don't Bait Me is 4.2 out of 5.
