by admin -

April Book Box Club Theme was Fallen Angels, which I was super exited about as I have a love of fictional angels.

Item 1:

Feather Bookmark by Ingrained Inc.

I love wooden bookmarks, and this feather bookmark is beautiful and has so much detail in its design.

Item 2:

Jace Notebook by A Traveling Sketchbook.

I am a big believer in you can never have enough notebooks. I was very happy to see this plan paper notebook with a stunning drawing of Jace from the shadowhunters.

Item  3:

Slayer Sticker by Quotify

Like any good fan girl, I love Buffy the Vampire so I loved this sticker that says ‘ I’m a Slayer Ask me how!” Now I have to decide will this go on my laptop or my bullet journal. decisions, decisions.

Item 4:

Angel Veil Body Butter by Shimmer Luxe.

The body Butter scent is sugared Almonds, and it just reminds me of Battenberg Cake, and doesnt everyone want to smell good enought to eat. I have sensitive skin and I have no problems with this body butter.

Item 5:

Tunnocks Teacake

I was pleasently suprised to find a Tunnocks Teacake in this months box, I cant remember the last time I had one. I can’t wait to eat it as a read this months book.

Item 6:

Karou & Akiva Candle by Bookish Burns

This candle is inspired by the book of Daughter of Smoke and Bone, the scen of the candle is Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vanila Aroma. I love the smell of Sandalwood its one of my favourite candle scents. I also love the glitter on the top of the candle and the white tin.

Out of the Blue by Sophia Cameron

Ten days after Jaya Mackenzie’s mum dies, angels start falling from the sky. Smashing down to earth at extraordinary speeds, wings bent, faces contorted, not a single one has survived.

Hysteria mounting with every Being that drops, Jaya’s father uproots the family to Edinburgh intent on catching one alive. But Jaya can’t stand this obsession and, struggling to make sense of her mother’s sudden death and her own role on that fateful day, she’s determined to stay out of it.

When her best friend disappears and her father’s mania spirals, things hit rock bottom and it’s at that moment something extraordinary happens: An angel lands right at Jaya’s feet, and it’s alive. Finally she is forced to acknowledge just how significant these celestial beings are.

Blurb from Goodreads.

I love book that have Angels in and I can’t wait to read this take on the angel characters.
