Book Review: Don’t Tempt Me (Nora Jacobs #4) by Jackie May

Hi Cara,

Today I finished the final book in the Nora Jacobs series. Don't Tempt Me is the fourth and final book.

Synopsis

Something is wrong with Nora. There’s a darkness inside her that she can’t seem to control. As she and her men search for answers to her siren’s dark nature, someone puts out a hit on her clan. Now, mercenaries from all over are trying to kill them. On top of all that, Nora must take on her first official case for the FUA. Someone is stealing mythical creatures, and they need to be stopped before they can steal the magic of the world’s most powerful underworlders.

This is the 4th and final book in the Nora Jacobs series.

Opinion

Don't Tempt me wraps everything up in a neat bow for Nora Jacobs and her clan.

Nora has character growth and revelations change her outlook regarding her life, men, family and work life. It was interesting seeing Nora in a different darker way.

There is a couple of different plot elements going on in Don't Tempt Me. This gives the books lots of action, with the Hits, kidnapping and murders. I shouldn't have been surprised by who was behind everything.

There are new additions to Nora Harem, and clan in Don't Tempt Me. I liked the new additions as they brought a lightness to the group, and made it more like a family.

Overall an enjoyable read with a happy ending.

My rating for Don't Tempt me is 4 out of 5.
