Curious Minds (Knight & Moon Mystery #1) By Janet Evanovich and Phoef Sutton

Curious MindsĀ is the first book in a new series that follows eccentric billionaire Emerson Knight and Harvard graduate Riley Moon.

Riley Moon has just graduated from Harvard and started her dream job working at Blane-Grunwald bank, her dream job doesn’t seem so dreamy when she is assigned to babysit the handsome eccentric billionaire Emerson Knight. Knight want to see his Gold that he has inherited, but the head of the Blane-Grunwald is being weird about him seeing it, and with a 2 missing members of the bank Emerson starts investigating. Now Emerson and Riley are on a life and death race though Washington D.C, New York and Vegas. Emerson and Riley must uncover a sinister plot that could cause the destruction of the American currency.

This is a light heart fast paced crime fiction, with the entertainment coming from the character of Emerson, Riley and Emerson Aunt Myra. The banter between Emerson and Riley makes me laugh, and Aunt Myra kept on surprising me, she is someone who you shouldn’t under-estimate her.

Some might not like the fact that exotic animal live at Emerson Home, but I enjoyed the random animals kept popping into the story.

Some of the situation can seem far-fetched but the story is an entertaining read. This book may not be for everyone but for me it was the perfect book to read after some heavy reading.

The second book in the series Dangerous Minds is already out and on my to read list.

Thank you Headline and BookbridgrĀ for giving me the chance to read this book for a fair and honest review.

I give this book 3.9 out of 5
