War Storm is a Monumental book coming in at 662 pages this book is full of action and drama that kept me hooked.

This book is split to the perspectives of Mare, Mal, Cal, Evangeline and Iris which keeps the book interesting. I was surprised that my opinion of Evangeline changes as I read more of the story from her side, at the beginning of these series I never thought I would warm to her but  by the end of War Storm I had.

Iris is an interesting character, she is introduced in Kings Cage, she is the second princess of the Lakelanders, with the ability to control water. After hearing so much about the Lakelanders in previous books it was satisfying to find out the simulators and differences between the two countries.

One of my favourite characters throughout the series has been Cal uncle Julian, we get to see more of him in this book. I feel like people always underestimated Julian but he is a lot more cunning and stronger with his ability than I originally thought.

I am not sure who I feel about the ending of the book, I neither like or dislike it, I understand why it ended the way it did but i was hoping for a little more.

I give this book 4.5 out of 5.
