Hi Kanca,
I have previously read and loved the first two book in the Frostblood Sage, Frostblood and Fireblood, I have waiting since last year to get my hands on the final book in Elly Blake series, Nightblood.
Ruby never thought her life would turn out the way it has, she is in love with the Frost King and he loves her. She found out her mother was a Fireblood princess and she is now the heir to the Fireblood throne. He Mother was possessed by the Minax when pregnant with her, meaning she is the first of a new kind, she is a Nightblood.
The evil God Eurus the God of the Minax is planning to break open the gate that holds the Minax so they can infect the world. Once infected he will have control of all of humanity. Now Ruby, Arcus and Kai, will have to put their difference aside and get the Frostblood and Fireblood to work together as this is the only way they can stop Eurus and save the worlds from the darkness.
Nightblood is the perfect way for the series to end, it is an emotional rollercoaster, that has plenty of action, drama and romance. The story wraps everything up nicely too, while also giving several surprises along the way. Â I really didn’t want the book to end as I love the character so much.
Elly Blake has created an amazing and vivid world, Nightblood introduces us to another aspect of the world which we haven’t seen before in Frostblood or Fireblood. One of my favourite expects of these book is that each book has been different from the previous one, I like that I didn’t no what to expect.
I would love to hear more stories about what the Gods get up too, especially  Sud and Fors I bet them two have interesting stories.
Arcus and Ruby relationship is one of my favourite aspects of this book, as it has been previously. They have tender, funny, romantic, sad and fiery moments that gives this relationship more of a realistic feel to it, it’s not perfect but they are willing to fight for each other.  I think Arcus and Ruby are one of my favourite fictional characters.
I give this book 5 out of 5
I can wait to read what Elly Blake writes next.
