On the run Riv struggles to understand her half-breed heritage. She is the living proof of the warrior angels’ biggest secret. A secret which could break their society in too . When she is found by the Ben-Elim’s high captain, her life will change for ever.
In secret the demonic forces have been multiply, and now they are ready for war. Sending a mighty war-host to overthrow the angel’s stronghold, to free their leader. All the allies of the Ben-Elim are under attach, will Drem and Riv help save their land? Can they stop the dark from rising?
A Time of Blood is an EPIC fantasy.
One of the amazing aspects of A Time of Blood, is the battle scenes. When I am reading them my mind is picturing the epic battle scenes seen in the Lord of the Rings films.
A Time of Blood has some great revelation, like double take, drop the book revelations. If it was t.v show those moment would be the cliff hanger moments, with dramatic music.
I am going to say this now if anything really bad happens to Hammer, there is going to be problems Mr Gwynne big problems. It a true talent to create a character that says no words but her actions make you love her. Hammer actions with another bear made me laugh out loud, she is a Bear with attitude.
I am looking forward to seeing what happens next with Riv and Drem, and hoping that two other character get their comeuppance.
My rating for A Time of Dread is 4.5 out of 5.
A Time of Dread is out in the world from the 16th and 18th April 2019, depending on which country you live in.
