Hi Cara,
I continued listening to the Hidden Legacy series on Audiobook and finished Wildfire in 2 days. Wildfire is the 3rd book in Ilona Andres Hidden Legacy series.
Just when Nevada Baylor has finally come to accept the depths of her magical powers, she also realizes she’s fallen in love. Connor “Mad” Rogan is in many ways her equal when it comes to magic, but she’s completely out of her elements when it comes to her feelings for him.
To make matters more complicated, an old flame comes back into Rogan’s life…
Rogan knows there’s nothing between him and his ex-fiance, Rynda Sherwood. But as Nevada begins to learn more about her past, her power, and her potential future, he knows she will be faced with choices she never dreamed of and the promise of a life spent without him.
As Nevada and Rogan race to discover the whereabouts of Rynda’s kidnapped husband and are forced to confront Nevada’s grandmother, who may or may not have evil motives, these two people must decide if they can trust in each other or allow everything to go up in smoke.

Wildfire is full of wild action, drama and fiery romance.
Four elements drive the plot in Wildfire;
- A Case of a Missing Husband
- Nevada Paternal Grandmother
- The Conspiracy for new Rome.
- Becoming a house.
Each element is weaved together to create an addictive read. I like that you don’t feel that one part is overpowering the rest of the story. It just means there is something always going that keeps you gripped.
As this is the third book for Nevada and conner, you get to see the evolution of their relationship. How they now work together, take each other opinion into consideration. I liked the fact they accept each other completely even the dark side of their personality.
In Wildfire we finally get to find out more about Nevada Sisters and Cousins powers. I like how their abilities are so different, and in some cases very rare.
I LOVE Sergeant Teddy. He needs his own book.
Below are some of my favourite Wildfire Quotes.
” I had been hugged by a giant, superintelligent, pacifist bear. I could do this. I could do anything.”
“Yes, Sir. I was going to kiss you goodnight, but now I can’t. It’s against the rules to fraternize with my superior officer.”
“I can’t believe I have to say this. You there, dashing male secretary! Drop the Frying Pan.”
“Prime or no Prime, five-year olf girls were scary. I babysat my sisters when they were that age. It still gave me Nightmares.”
At the end of Wildfire, Nevada paternal Grandmother is taking to Caeser. Caeser true name isn’t said but something he said made me go OMG. I think I know who it is, and if it is I am shooked.
My rating for Wildfire is 4.6 out of 5.
