(Synopsis from Goodreads.com)
Notes from Small Planet is the perfect coffee table book. It’s great to pick up and read about another world while I am on a break.
As I was reading the book I tried to decide which worlds travel too. The below worlds;
- Mittelveide – A Fantasy World with a none human population.
- Eroica City – A world where superheroes are normal and have a wide range of abilities.
- Spume- Pirate World
- Chugholme – Steampunk World
- SPACE- Space world created on multiple cultures
- Grondorra- Brutal jungle World
- Mundania and Whimsicalia – World of wizards and magic.
- Wasteland- Post-Apocalypse
All these worlds have something about them that makes me want to visit. Even if I wouldn’t survive the visit. I especially would like to visit mundania/ Whimsicalia, Mittelveide and Eroica City as it’s worlds that focus on my favourite genre.
Another element I loved about Notes from Small Planets is the annotations. I loved the back and forth between Floyd and Eliza in those notes. As well as being told the truth about people and situation and note the politically correct things to say.
Notes from Small Planets is a perfect travel book as it contains anything I would need to know to travel in any of the worlds. My favourite topic is the history of the world. It makes me want to learn more.
My Rating for Notes from Small Planet is 4 out of 5.
